Park Slope United's Select League - KickStarters is our intermediate level program, and is the next step after our Developmental Program in the player's development cycle. This program provides players a similar experience to our Travel Program without the same level of commitment. Most of our professional Travel Program coaches coach Select League teams.

Our coaches are adept at both helping those who wish to take their game to the next level, and those who are content playing as a hobby. No matter what the player's goal might be, our coaches and staff emphasize the many life lessons that come with sport - such as teamwork, integrity and sportsmanship - qualities that are core to Park Slope United.

This program is a perfect fit for...

• Players who love the game but haven't had much playing experience, and want to take a step up from recreational soccer

• Players who partake in other extracurricular activities and want to play soccer with less commitment

• Players who are motivated to keep working hard at their skills to potentially join a PSU or Brooklyn United travel team in the future

• Families who are not able to meet the commitments of travel soccer and want a local soccer experience

• Families and players who want to be a part of the PSU family and community

Winning is not the main focus in this program. We allow our players to take risks, think creatively and express their abilities without fear of reprimand. As our players grow older, program rules and league details like competing for playing time, seriousness and intensity of games, commitment, and expectations change in accordance with what is developmentally appropriate for each age group.

FALL 2022 SEASON

- All Kickstarter Select League practices are held on Monday AND Tuesday between 4pm-6pm at Prospect Park Ballfields. You will be informed of your exact practice time via LeaueApps.
- All Kickstarter Select League games are Saturday morning at PSU Clubhouse. You will be informed of your team's exact game schedule via LeagueApps
