PARK SLOPE UNITED DEVELOPMENTAL CLASSES are specifically designed for ages 5 and older.

Park Slope United Developmental Classes are our beginner level program. The program teaches the fundamentals of soccer through fun, game-based exercises. Through these classes players will build a connection to the ball, their coaches, the other players, and the possibilities for growth and mastery found within the sport.

The Developmental Program is the first step in the Park Slope United soccer program structure and prepares players to eventually join our Travel Program. For those players who have already fallen in love with the game, we encourage attending two or more Developmental Classes per week, as well as play in our Developmental League on the weekend. For those players just getting started, join a class or two and get ready to find a lifelong love for the beautiful game.

Our coaches and directors, who have extensive coaching experience with children this age, pull from an extensive library of games that engage the kids actively to play, learn, communicate and move. All of our games focus on being as fun as possible! If the kids are not having fun, then learning the fundamentals of the sport is only tougher.

Classes are conveniently offered seven days a week with varying hours to allow for families with busy schedules to still get out to practice. We cannot wait to see all our PSU Dev Program Players out on the field having fun, making friends, and learning this wonderful sport we all love!
